Wither, Orpheus

Just as philosophy begins with doubt, so also, a life that may be called human, begins with irony

— Kierkegaard

Stale, flaxen lives, in rocky toil of same
Wither Orpheus, your underworld game
Toiling sprouts spring silver under blue
Rainbow pots of gold, such virtues reframe.

Soothing that balm of diversifications
Indigo, sable imaginations
Rising allegro of bright compassion
Not voiceless which reaps dry implications.

Between the action and the intention
Tune tone and movement with sharp attention
The whispering quest to grow fertile fields
Sweet lives, orange of rich contemplation.
