Echo of the Pilgrimage

The echo of the pilgrimage is a journey,
in search of meaning
about their self, others, nature, or a higher good,
through the experience.

Awake for ever in a sweet unrest. ~ John Keats

Tales echo of the pilgrimage, where
Without this exodus, so lost in pall
Disease and decay in the shadows, there
Chipped away by the yoke-oppressing thrall.

Turn wise, the clock, moss signature to trails
Where Heliostat stoves warm opinion,
The shoreline does flourish in dawning sails
Upon the diamond sea, arisen.

To the arpeggio tune stormy nights
No rock face fangs barring the vining creeds
Let the thunder stir the wolf not to plight
Sweet earthy loam to nest the wayward seeds.

Rise up dynamic in shared baptisms
To carve away at the dominant tome
Thawing of ice, dusting clarity prisms
Moon lit buoys stand bravely guiding us home.

about a pilgrimage

pilgrimage is a journey, often into an unknown or foreign place, where a person goes in search of new or expanded meaning about their self, others, nature, or a higher good, through the experience. It can lead to a personal transformation, after which the pilgrim returns to their daily life. wikipedia

The years are less than a breath, like a song…

Where are you gone, who loved me so long
one summer far from home? Days are long.

Even the heat is lovelier there, as memory is.
We make lemonade from powder. Little wonder

the years are less than a breath, like a song
on the radio heard as the rhythm of languor…
